One overlooked New Deal program was the Treasury Deptartment's efforts to create murals and other art for display in Post Offices and federal buildings. It served many purposes, including the employment of artists, during the Great Depression.
Framingham Public Library and Framingham State's Division of Graduate and Continuing Education are pleased to present a free 10-session lifelong learning series.
Five sessions will take place at the library, and five at the university. Refreshments served.
